Contribute
How do I give? If you want to make regular contributions or make a one-off gift online, click here (you'll notice the address is that of our sister church because we don't actually have a building! But funds go directly to MCC). You can also give cash or by card in person if you prefer.
Why give? Do you believe in MCC's mission and want to be part of safeguarding our future? Do you want to contribute to our community life in some way, so we can continue to share what we have with others? These are good reasons to give, even if you're not sure you're a Christian.
If you are already a Christian, generously giving of yourself (whether that's your financial resources, your time or sharing your skills and experience) is part of what it means to follow Jesus, and to respond to God's generosity. Your giving helps our church to grow, to serve, and to explore where God is taking us.

How is money spent? Most of what we receive is spent on employing a part-time assistant leader, freeing her up to follow God's call in the many ways she serves this community. Money is also spent on our youth group, firewood, food, equipment and training.
More detail... We received a start-up grant from the Church of England to get us going, but moving forward we aim to support ourselves through the contributions of our community and by sourcing other external grants. The start-up grant runs out next year out and we desperately don't want that to be the end of the road for us.
What next? If you're thinking about taking this step, talk to God in prayer first. And remember, it is never the amount we give that counts, but the way we give. Generosity is a state of mind, not a figure. And God blesses our offerings of the heart, no matter how humble they may seem to us.
