Mustard Seeds​

Our new service called Mustard Seeds starts in March 2026 and the focus is entirely on serving the youngest members of the church. The adults are there to support them in building friendships with one another, meeting their needs, offering led and open ended play, and providing a safe environment where our little ones can thrive. Mustard Seeds will rotate around different family homes and in the summer will likely be held in parks and woods. This service will always include snacks, a story and community prayer at the end. Mustard Seeds runs from 2-4pm.

Older siblings can come along and join in/hang out together, understanding that they have their own focused time (Mighty Oaks) and this gathering is mainly about the little ones.

Mighty Oaks

Our youth group for age 9+ meets fortnightly on Friday evenings. We eat, play games, discuss life and faith, sing and pray together. Over the last year we have been ice skating, built teamwork and leadership skills by putting up and taking down our big bell tent, we've engaged in creative prayer stations, discussed baptism and some heroes in the Bible, had board game evenings and played lots of physical games outdoors. The most important aspect of Mighty Oaks is building trust and acceptance within and among our young people so they feel able to express themselves and discuss what's important to them in this safe space.
